Istanbul's cruise port, Galataport, is in Karaköy on the Bosphorus. The road to Istanbul Airport (IST) is about 45 km and takes roughly 50–75 minutes depending on traffic, and longer at rush hour. Public transport on this route means changes and carrying your luggage; a private car takes you door to door.
The price is the same in both directions and is per vehicle, not per person. Return bookings are discounted, so you can book airport to port before your cruise and port to airport after it in one go.
Making your flight after disembarkation
Disembarkation times depend on your luggage group and how busy the port is that day. When you choose a flight, leave enough time for leaving the ship, passport control and the drive; airlines generally recommend arriving 3 hours before an international flight.
Set your pickup for the time you expect to be out of the terminal. If that time changes, message us on WhatsApp straight away and we will re-plan with you.
From your flight to the ship
Add your flight number when booking: your driver is planned around your landing time and waiting is free for 60 minutes after landing. Leave a generous margin between your flight and the ship's boarding time, and if you can, arrive the day before.
